Zim Smith Trail - Saratoga County

County-Wide Trail System
The Town recognized the value of a county-wide trail system along the abandoned Delaware and Hudson railway that stretches through the Town and paved a section of the Zim Smith Trail in 1998 from East Line Road to the Village of Round Lake providing pedestrian, bicycle, rollerblade and other non-motorized access to the Shenantaha Creek Park.
The Zim Smith Trail has been extended through the efforts of Saratoga County and provides an integral piece of a now county wide trail system. The Zim Smith Trail will ultimately connect to the proposed Champlain canal-way trail system and the Hudson Mohawk Bike Path. It will be the main line used in our Town to connect our parks, neighborhoods, and facilities in the future.
