"A FAMILY TOWN!"

A Great Location!

A hometown ideally located on Interstate 87 in Saratoga County, New York, 10 miles south of historic Saratoga Springs and 20 miles north of Albany, our State’s capital. Malta is midway between Boston, Montreal, Buffalo and New York City.

A Vibrant Economy!

Anchored by the Regional Headquarters of State Farm Insurance Company, the Home Office of Stewart’s Ice Cream Company, Racemark International and the multi-use Malta Commons Business Park. The Town currently has a major Nano-Tech park in the developmental stage, as well as many other exciting projects on the agendas of the Town's Planning board and Town Board.

A "Family Town"!

Inhabited by 12,500 citizens enjoying the quality of life a small town offers, such as quiet neighborhoods, two large recreational parks, and highly acclaimed school systems.

Low Taxes!

Saratoga county carries the lowest property tax rate per capita of any county in the State and Malta has not had a General Town tax for the last 15 years. The Town is efficiently operated on a pay-as-you-go basis with no long-term debt.

Tourist Attractions!

Easy access to places of interest in a County known for its Health, Horses and History. See where the Battle of Saratoga was fought, be entertained at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and enjoy the fast pace of the Saratoga Race Track. The National Museum of Dance and the National Museum of Racing are within a few minutes of Malta. For the boating enthusiasts, the Town of Malta borders the lovely Saratoga Lake.
